Terms of Service
Please read all of the T.o.S. before commissioning me. Failure to comply to the rules will result in you getting blacklisted and prevented from commissioning WitB. All orders will be cancelled and refunded accordingly.
•I will not start on your fursuit until I have received at least 50% of the required payment.
•A 30% of your payment is non-refundable. This is used for buying the materials needed for your suit, as well as a place-holder in my queue.
•Walk in the Bark currently only accepts PayPal. (I will not approve of receiving nor sending cash through the mail.)
•I do accept payment plans. I do not take payment plans than last more than six months. If you wish to do payment plans, we will discuss it in more detail.
Reference Sheets
•A three-sided (front, back, side) reference sheet of your character is highly recommended. If you only have a two-sided reference sheet, that will work, too. The less detail and information of your character is presented, the less likely it's going to look accurate to how you envisioned it.
•I will NOT work off of a description or unfinished character. I also do not work off of shaded ref sheets.
Shipping
•The cost of shipping is not included in the final cost. Additional fees will be calculated when the time comes. I will not ship out products until the fee has been paid.
•I am not responsible for any lost or damaged products.
•â€‹â€‹I do ship out of Canada, however shipping fees will be more expensive if you live outside of the US or Canada. Prices will vary depending on location, weight, etc.
Warranty and Repairs
•I will offer free repairs up to one year. However, if there are any signs of poor care or mistreatment, I will decline your request for repairs and send it back.
•After a year of owning your suit, repairs will have a small fee (prices will vary).
•If you decide you want to have repairs done to your costume, you will have to pay shipping costs for both ways.
•Please clean your suit before sending it to me. If I notice you have not cleaned it beforehand, I will add an extra fee.
Walk in the Bark's Rights
•WitB has the right to decline service to anyone. Such reasons can be that the character is too complex, the customer is being rude or difficult, or the submission is copyrighted or is someone else's.
•I have the right to sell or discard projects that have been cancelled or have not been paid for in a certain amount of time.
Measurements
•When ordering your fursuit, you must include your head circumference in order for your suit's head to fit on you properly.
•If you plan on ordering a partial, you must include your foot size. You must also send the length of your arm (from your shoulder to your wrist) and the circumference of your upper arm.
Age Requirement
•I do except minors 16+, however, I must get some sort of approval from a parent/guardian. This could be a signature, video, etc.
Deadlines
•When filling out your quote, you have the option of setting a deadline of when you would like your fursuit to be completed. I will try my best to finish the project by that specific deadline, HOWEVER I cannot guarantee your suit will be finished by the deadline. I will not rush my work in order to meet said deadline.
Refunds
•If you want to cancel your commission during construction, please remember that a 30% of your payment cannot be refunded. The refund amount will vary depending on how much time and progress was spent.
•You cannot cancel your commission after your costume has been completed.
Performance
•Please be aware that when wearing a fursuit your vision and hearing will be impaired, and you will get hot and possibly sweaty.
•WitB is not responsible for any injuries done to you; you wear at your own risk.
Allergy Disclaimer
•Before commissioning WitB, please be aware that I own dogs and cats in my household. If you are severely allergic, I recommend searching for a maker elsewhere.
•I work in a non-smoking environment.
•I often have incense burning in my house, so if you are allergic please notify me and I will make sure they have not been settled in my work space for at least seven days.
Artistic Liberty
•If you wish to commission an artistic liberty suit, the only information you will need to provide are: the type of fursuit, the species, and gender. You can also tell me some recommendations/preferences. As the maker, I get to choose the rest of the information (such as color(s), patterns, etc.). Please keep in mind that if you do order an artistic liberty costume, it is possible that it may not turn out exactly how you wanted it. However, once it has been completed, and you disapprove, you can not decline or refund the suit. Please consider this before sending a quote for an artistic liberty suit.
